- Congratulations to Marco for winning the Australian Title in Mui Tai. The fight was cancelled due to injuries. Marco’s apponent received injuries to the head in the 4th round. Well done Marco and thanks to everyone who came down to support the school.
- We have a new stock of the 98% essentials in stock now, the old essentials ranked 77.9%. For those who don’t know what essentials are, they are multi vitamins, minerals and antioxidents and we have the best there is.
- (Hong Hings) Teet Da Jow Medicine from Hong Kong is now available in small $25 containers. Stock will be in Tuesday. Best medicine for any injury.
- Hydrate, mineralise and revitalise with our Zooma satchels. Just add to water and it dramatically improves your body hydration and reduces stress levels.
- Anyone who went to Marcos cancelled fight back on 30th August - please write your details down on the list at front counter so you may receive some kind of compensation.

- Marco will be fighting for the Australian Title this Saturday. There will be 5 x 5 minute rounds with a 2 minute break. See Marco for tickets in Balcatta and front counter at OConnor. Wednesday will be the last day to get your tickets.
- The sparring extravaganzer was really good on Sunday. We raised $475 for charity plus we still need to count the 2 x tins we have at the front counter at both schools. We will donate the money to the Conservation Council who campaigns against Genetically Modified Foods. There is a campaign this Thursday 30th at 11.45am at cnr Esplanade and Barrack Street. So come down and let the Government know that you stand against GM Foods.
- Wei Xie came in 1st place at the Sparring Extravaganzer, Daniel Paulsen 2nd place and Trent Cummins 3rd place. Well done – great effort.
- Sifu has got a good stock of See Gong (Hong Hing) Teet da jow from Hong Kong. This is the best medicine you will ever get your hands on so talk to Sifu if you want some.
- Usana Essentials have been recognised as the leading multivitamin in Australia ranking at 73.7%. Usana have made some enhancements to the essentials and it now ranks at 97.8% so that’s great news for everyone.

- Grading and Testing in Balcatta next week – don’t forget to bring in your sheets or extra horse stance will apply.
- BSC in OConnor will be changed to the 27th of October 8.15pm to 9.15pm. Balcatta will remain the same on Thursday 23rd October 8.15pm to 9.15pm.
- The Sparring Extravaganza is on 26th October. Come and check out all the Advanced Levels sparring and we will be doing a Kung Fu Demo. There will also be 3 new lions getting blessed. It starts at 11am and all members and friends are welcome. There will be a hot dog stand outside also. Its $5 per head or $10 per family. All proceeds will go to charity. So come out for an action packed Sunday afternoon.

- If you are in the Demo Team or Lion Dance Troupe, you will need to pick up a Red Cantonese Jacket. Remember if you ordered one then you need to collect it or it might get sold.
- Marco’s fight is this Saturday, so come down and support your school - tickets are available from Marco at Balcatta or Bec at front counter at OConnor. For more information read the posters around the school.
- If you are interested in Nutritional supplements for your health, just ask at front counter. Prevention is better than ‘cure’.
- Sparring Extravaganza will be held on the 26th October. Blue levels and above will be participating and all Assistant Instructors. There will be a kung fu demo and lion dance performance. We will be charging $5 per person and all proceeds will go to charity.

- We also have a good range of medicine in stock which is essential for conditioning and fixing up those aches and pains, if not sure which one, ask Sifu or a Senior Instructor.
- We will be ordering Blue with Black trim Cantonese Jackets at the end of this month. If you would like to get one, place your order at front counter and put a $50 deposit down please.
